Best lovers or best friends?

The cooling weather's been keeping myself at home for the past few days, don't even wanna get out of bed at times hehe :> Met up with Zengting for a simple dinner at Hougang on Thursday! Since I've got alllll the time to spend, we went Daiso for some short shopping (hehe) and I went to her house for a short visit! Time spent with her is always good, because we simply talk about everything even if we do not have stuffs to catch up each other with. (L)

My newly bought oven was left aside for two weeks ever since it was delivered to my house, so decided to put into good use on Friday when I stayed home the entire day. I was too careless to forget about my Daddy's birthday too :/ So to make it up at the very last minuteeeee, I baked chocolate cake as requested from him! :D

Spent a whole 4hours in the kitchen doing up allllll the stuffs and it was damn tiresome I swear, especially for a first timer like me for cakes huh :( 

Fyi, it was my first attempt for a classic chocolate cake heh. Don't judge by its look up there, I didn't do the icing because I personally don't like it and too much chocolatey stuffs is not for me. Amazingly, it was awesome! My sis didn't believe it was baked by me lor..... :( I only got to have one slice by myself and the rest were finished yesterday, so can you imagine how good it was? Didn't expect them to have good comments about it because the previous attempts of me baking literally failed lolz. Ok! Will improve on the appearance next time round heh.

Date with BFF.

Awesome shopping day out with Zengting on Saturday. I think we mastered having to shop for our stuffs AND updating our lives with each other at the same time hahahaha. My memory's really that bad...  can't remember exactly what we did, except the part whereby our legs were worn out from the walks hehe. (I just spent two minutes thinking what we had for dinner -.-) If only she's not working on weekdays, I could just drop by anytime to disturb her! Life's too mundane for me heh.

Woke up slightly earlier on Sunday for buffet lunch at Buffet Town! Forgot to bring my cammie out, but the food was good! :D Since the amount of food I had was alot more than usual, it was my only meal for the day of course, followed by having laoban beancurd before heading home! :D

Actually was just trying my luck, and since there weren't much people (only like 10 ppl ahead of me?) I just spent 10minutes q-ing. It was so smoooooooooooth, but a tad too sweet imo? My family thought so too! 

Monday but no blues! Accompanied dad for his last scoping. Poor him, the past two months' been real hard on him and he lost 12kg (and counting) from all the ops and stuffs. Not used to seeing him so lean leh, miss the fat belly daddy! :( This is what a minor sickness can actually lead to when you drag it for years. Now thats all for him, hopefully it'll be the same case for my mum, thank goodness I'm not working this holiday, at least I can acc this two folks whenever I want to. *Cross fingers*

Relax Choya!

As planned since last week, we girls got up earlier than usual (Ok la only Weijin and I in fact) for dimsum buffet! Can't remember when was the last time I had but we came here thanks to Xinghuei's recommendation! It's @ Ban Heng Resturant heh. The porridge was gooooood, actually their dishes not that bad but.... a little bit salty :/ Maybe not a bit, IS VERY SALTY.

*gasps* Fried food platter. Don't really like tooooo oily stuffs, but those were ok!

And off we went for a lil shopping at Bugis, wanted to catch a movie but the timeslots were too late; just when we were sitting at a corner thinking where to go/what to do, Weijin suggested Mahjong!

Yours truly almost drove them to nuts at the start of the game, forever and always hahahaha. Remember the last time we had this was 09's Christmas?! Time fliessssssssss.

There goes our day! Can't wait for our XLB buffet which we've been wanting to eat since a month ago. Finally managed to book seats on the 16th! Heh can't wait!

On a side note, most of the guys and their gfs gonna hate this week.... Simply because they got enlisted! Ah, seeing those girls trying to manage their love sicknesses and all, it got me thinking way back to '08 when I went through this, that feeling aint good at all I know. Hi BFF if you're seeing this, I know you can do it! You got to be and you'll be fine my dear! :> 

Tan's.

Today was a long awaited birthday celebration for Norvan's at the Tan's, yes KS's house. Met the two at Whitesands at a very early timing before heading back to his house for preparation! 

Cons came, with her iPad and got us playing the app hahahaha. See! Too engrossed. 

Full force today! :> Absolutely loved it, definitely. :)

Weimin left, and we played monopoly to kill time. Spent two hours on it and nonstop laughing. I think I'm very suay in whatever I do eh :(

Funfilled Sunday. Now its another new week ahead. I know I should try to start on my revision soon but.... no sense of urgency yet :/ 

Time flies. There goes my one week of holidays. Not even counted as holiday when I didn't even get to enjoy any. Except for Sunday! I swallowed down all my frustrations to wait for this day and vented it all out on my bestf4eva. Shopping therapy as promised, and it really helps. Feeling so good though I've to go back to schoolwork at the end of the day. But still, she makes me feel that as least when everything else fails, she's there to listen, as patient as she can, as always.

Just don't understand why people can't be more zi dong yi dian. PLEASE? -.-

I hate OB (Once again)

This is me and my weary eyes after a day of facing my Mac. Regretted not wearing specs out :< This morning, went for my tuition as usual before meeting Bestie @ Somerset, had lunch at Flying Chillies, my first time though and the food was good like she mentioned. As usual, we just have too much to talk for too lil time. But we got down to serious work when we reached Starbucks! Doing work with her is good, because both of us will concentrate hahahahaha.

Then we went separate ways because I can see that she was worried for her B LOL so being so understanding of course I didn't mind! Xinghuei was steady to come out too heehee and my second part of the day goes to her, at Mcds. Its been quite some time since I had it though. Continued my essay and I'm happy I have something to bring home today. (Or at least I should) I aim to finish everything by tomorrow!! I must! :(

1st tuition + Clothes buffet?

This morning woken up by my brother's text saying to ask me rush down to Bugis for some admin stuffs for his phone lor. Sighhhh and I did a good deed ok! Cabbed to and fro and went to my tutee's house, which I thought it was Serangooon Ave 1 next to Nex, which turned out to be NOT! Panic attack when I realised I was at the wrong place.... Supposed to be Serangoon North Ave 1... Stupid leh why must this two places have the exact same blks?!?!?!?!

Was late for the first lesson lolol :( Rushed like mad I swear. 

Ahhh, then met Zengting and the rest for this clothes buffet. My first time trying this kinda experience. Still so sad about another denim shorts which I wanted to get LOL. Supposed to stay inside for only 15-20minutes, but I think we spent an hour? LOL cos I was trying to squeeze into that plastic bag.... End up I only got 4 items? Highest record was 9... I wonder how others did it...

Hehe, then a budget dinner because lao niang(s) no money already. (Y) Cheap thrill day with good loots. Me like :D

Good old times.

Was watching drama alllll the way till 6am on Saturday morning and ended up didn't meet Zengting, was too tired :( Apparently, I slept my day away and woke up at 7pm to have my dinner, camped myself infront of the tv heh heh - THIS IS LIFE!

This morning (or rather afternoon) when I woke up, bathed and off I went to Zengting's house as planned! Went to the supermarket and bought the ingredients, had a hard time settling down on the recipe btw.  

Came back with BBT and we started preparing! Hahahah the process was kinda epic leh come to think of it now.

Looks nice right? :D Taste nice tooooo just that its kinda too cheesy, definitely not for non-cheese lovers. I could still take it la but then after this portion I stopped already lolz.

I super super loved today because we were practically talking, NON-STOP. When was the last time we spent time like this?! On the way to her house, I was still thinking and figuring out when was the last time I had a stayover at her house. In the past, she always did it at mine, when I was still in my old room and vice versa. So I think the last time we were like this was a couple of years ago.....

I'm not sure whether we have caught up with each other about whatever we've missed previously, but I guess I'll go to her house more often in the future? Its definitely a good therapy for a girls' talk like this. (Y)

So on the last day of holiday, I met up with Xinghuei and Siewyin (again) at Parkway to get our spectacles done. Lunched at Crystal Jade before that. Spent quite some time choosing frames and I kinda luv my frames? :D Hope its good after my thick lens HAHA.

Didn't know time pass so fast, time to meet Zengting and the rest for dinner at Kovan! Was late but not too late, as usual :> Zirchar was nice! Love simple dinners like this, hehe.

We ended quite early, so I went back Bedok Point to find the girls again HAHA. See them almost everyday buay sian sia. But school is starting tomorrow already, sigh.... Wish us goodluck! :(

Juggling between work and social life.

On Monday, I had a well spent offday. Went to do some chores, finally reported loss for my ib device, got my contact lenses blablabla. Met my bestf after so long (so long since the two of us went out together on a date like this!!) Luckily with her, I managed to buy some stuffs home and feeling satisfied hehe. We always manage to catch up with each other, no matter how short our meetup was. Sometimes I wonder how long can we stay like this, no meetups for so long but we can just talk like nobody's business everytime we met. Now she's on her working life now and I'll be on my studies soon, I hope to continue like this till we see each other tying our knots with the other half in the future :>

Okkkk, the rest of the days are work again, especially after all the PLs and all, the mall seems so dead lor!! What to do? Stuff ourselves with food whenever we feel bored in the afternoon. Hehe. And how I wish I could help Xinghuei in doing some stuffs on that day argh. The thought of it makes me so angry again :<

Today's another off day! Before I have another one which will be on the grad day. Mixed feelings about it though, tsk whatever it is I could just spend the day with my girls thats it. :) Need to go out and baibai as well as to have my haircut! Bye!

Christmas 2010!

So on the 23rd Dec, we girls met at Vivo before buying stuffs and get prepared to check in Hotel Michael's!

While waiting for our rooms at the lobby, we got boredddd + the things that we've to carry is !@#$%!@#$.

At 330pm, finally! :D

Hahahah this was just part of the food we bought kay.

Not forgetting the santa hats we bought from Daiso! ^^

(Tinghui's chao bin got caught in action LOL) Nua and nua in the room till everyone arrived (Except for Nicole) And we watched tv, eat and eat, watched tv, eat and eat.

Before Nicole came, we went walking around at RWS and took some pictures, bought some more food back to the hotel room.

FULL FORCE!

Towards the end of the night after Xinghuei and Shumin went home, we got changed into our home clothes and started our long night. Very long and crazy indeed. Imagine laughing our way through the whole of two hours with games and drinks and all, when was the last time - or even when did we get to do this before? :D It was a hell of a crazy night. The next thing I knew was KO-ing on the bed with Nicole Tinghui and Mingming.



So the following day, Tinghui woke up the earliest among us 4 and we continued sleeping while the others were already up since 9am. Got changed, packed our stuffs and back to Vivo for lunch. My stomach was still hurting and nauseous and sorethroat and whatever lot.. Waste of money on my wanton noodle soup, seriously :(

After everyone left, Siewyin and I continued to hunt for our last minute xmas presents and being me, was super reluctant to turn up for work okayz~~ End up staying at home for the rest of the day instead. -.- 

I'm kinda lazy to elaborate the happenings on that 2 days already so if you wanttttttt, you can go to Xinghuei's blog to read more ^^ Lastly, I hope Yanyan's happy for whatever we've done kay? HAPPY BELATED 19TH ONCE AGAIN!

Since I've nothing on on Christmas itself, I went back to work! Doesn't feel like xmas at all when I'm working but it felt great to talk cock sing song with my colleagues again :> Before this, I actually prepared some xmas cards for my loved ones and supposed to meet Zengting & Cons but it was cancelled in the end, so I didn't have a chance to pass her the card too. 

Okay so now I'm done with everything.... Had my share of fun and received great xmas presents..... Gonna go back to reality and back to SIP report/ FYP instead. BYE :'(

Finally got some time spent alone at home yesterday. Impromptu meeting with my dearest girl and finally had my haircut before that. Attempted to shop for xmas presents but apparently I failed, ended up buying my own stuffs instead. At least I remember going to Urban Write to buy card materials!! ^^v

So today's another day meeting the rest of the clique for Constance's belated birthday dinner. Its been long we've gathered like this too, though the time spent was kinda short. Ks and Zengting still having their internship, and the guys looked tired earlier on. Me? Still procrastinating on my reports. (SPELL DEATH)

I've this feeling this year's xmas would be a different one from the previous years, though most probably I might be working on the actual day hahaha. Tomorrow's another day, gonna spend it with my girls! Can't wait! ;)

I always tell myself to update my blog but I'm damn lazy to do so. But anywayyyyy, went back for school two Saturdays ago and it was a great catching up session with my girls! ^^ Met Zengting my dearest girl in the afternoon and I loved how we talked nonstop through the shops and malls. It's how amazing that we could just not meet up for weeks or months but talk like nobody's business when it comes to our dates. When it comes to group outings, I don't talk about my personal problems that much as compared to when I'm with her alone. When was the last time we spent a day like this? Few times I thought we'd drift apart given our busy schedules (or rather mine though hehehe) In time to come, I won't wanna lose this dearest friend of mine, really.

How great it was to see Weijin, Mingming and all in school that day. Hi Xinghuei, if you're reading this, I miss you x10 too!! :( See SiewYin until I sian already leh LOL kiddingz. 

Work was great, though super tiring. 2 more weeks to go and a part of me can't bear to leave this wonderful workplace. 've been eating supper together with them these days and I totally loved it. Contradicting much, but I can't wait for it to end too because it's draining my energy like nobody's business okay :(

Last but not least, I bet some of you's been wondering my life, how it's been going and so on. Not to worry, I'm living my life as happy as I could and I wanna live on my own right now. 

BACK FROM HIATUS!

I've been neglecting this space for a nong nong time tskkkkk it's time to start blogging regularly hahahah. 

Life's still the same, working 6 days a week and one off day which I always spent it with my loved ones as much as I could. 

Pictures are the only way for me to keep track of what I did, if not I would have already forgotten what's been happening for the past weeks. Should start bringing my cammy along to work, right? :D

Met up for a short dinner with this two girls on one of my off days. Had Astons and I don't know when was the last time I had that.. Nevertheless, we managed to catch up with each other. On a side note, CONSTANCE PASSED HER MANUAL DRIVING TEST :D THUMBS UP! 

Was looking through my pictures and I really miss this bunch of girls. Their laughter, our nonsense. Two days ago, I realised its time to meet Xinghuei for some bitching session and so Siewyin and I went down to look for her after work ^^

Oh, was sent for a roadshow at Kovan for the past week. Hell tiring ah tamade. Work's good so far. LESS THAN A MONTH TO END OF SIP! :D

Went shopping with Xinghuei on Tues! Didn't buy much though. Had dinner at this Asian Kitchen @Ion, the food was not bad, just slightly more disappointing than the one we had at Iluma. Hahaha. We kinda walked the whole town? Okay not exactly because we took a train from one to another ^^ hahaha. Anyway, its been a long time since both of us went on a date like this hor! (Y)

Printed whatever I needed for mugging today. Went back to school w/ Xinghuei and back home, went out again when its time for tuition and back home again, out to deliver notes and light supper and back home again. Tiring much!

Now I can't wait to meet Zengting already. Time for some ranting session. I need it.

On the 28th, I met the girls for dinner at Joo Hing Restaurant, the chinese food is damn nice (Y) Wasn't really enough for us though. First, when we crossed the road and met Jiebing&co, Jiebing was telling me she's giving me my present, and who's behind? My best friend! Happy like mad when I see her I swear. Okay lor, this time of the year I'm always stupid because I believed whatever they told me :(

Should see how happy I looked when they surprised me with Zengting.

Went to Icecream cafe and because there weren't any seats available and we have to hide from the TP, all of us went over to Xinghuei's house instead.

I love every single one of them, I appreciate every single effort made. I'm sorry for you all to make out time for me as its MST period :( Thanks for the simple dinner, for planning behind the scenes, the Longchamp bag, thankyou and love every single one of you :)

On the 30th...

We met each other at Tanah Merah before taking the shuttle bus to NSRCC's Jumbo. Thanks Constance for the treat!!! The food was superb manszx. ;)

Hehehez, first time eating the cake from icing room! Niceszx! (though its a lil destroyed)

Did I mention this is my first and only birthday wish made for this year's birthday?

I love it when we're out as a clique. FULL ATTENDANCE :)

And after lunch, we went to play bowling (of course I'm not the one playing) and pool! It was already evening when we left the place, went to Norvan's place and ordered Pizza Hut delivery! Hungry like madszx.

Words can't describe how much I love her, really. In years to come, I won't wanna lose this important person in my life.

Movie and supper w/ Jasreel&co! Stupid me didn't notice that the cake was in the car all alonggggg. Jasreel drew that card, that girl remind me of how I looked during secondary 2 omgz. The chanel perfume is so niceeeee, and I know how tedious it was to buy this, thank youuuuuu :)

On the 29th, we went to pray blessings to my grandparents at Moulmein Rd before heading to town and had a walk. At the end of the day, he made me go to Swensen's and actually he ordered this cake long time ago :)

I hate to say this, but I have to. As much as I wanted to be happy, I couldn't. Its okay though, at least I know I appreciated every effort made, be it significant or not. Of all people, I know the only person I couldn't hide my feelings from is Zengting, who know me inside out despite how happy I made myself to look on the outside. But still, a big thank you to all of you, really, you people know who you are ;)
